Ok I know I already sent a foto of my lemur friend but I think he likes me as much as I like him! Its the "red faced monkeys" that would rather I not get so close, but this guy would come home with me I'm sure! My nephews would like that, but sorry Jesse + Wyatt - maybe next time! Some of my best experiences here have simply happened crossing this bridge before and after yoga practice. This morning this India native old man dressed in all white looked me straight in the eye and I don't know - we had a moment. He said something which I couldn't understand of course but I know was kind. Then he looked at my girlfriend and motioned to take a foto of me with him. So we did - right there in the mayhem of the crazy chaos bridge and he put his hands in prayer at his heart and smiled and said Namaste and off he went. He made my day. This was before practice - them of course mr Lemur flurting with me on the way back. So many people were like "why India" and I didn't have a great answer but I am so glad to have the opportunity to be here. It was a long, painful journey and it has not been easy but I'm here and I'm soaking up as much as possible from the animals, the people, and the culture.
Off to lunch... Namaste
